I would prefer the Winnipeg package, given that Bogosian is in the best position to replace Doughty's on-ice impact immediately, the value of the young winger in Kane, as well as the possibility of getting a slightly higher pick as compensation after Edmonton.
Winnipeg easily... The team is still not looking to strong for them(No one should really expect them to be that good this season) which means a high 1st rounder, PLUS, Bogosian was drafted just right behind Doughty and his potential still seems pretty high(playing with a weak Atlanta team at the time did not help him) and Evander Kane is looking to be a total monster, though, I doubt the Thrashers would want to deal him.
In no way do the Jets give up either Kane or a first round pick if such a deal were proposed. The organization has already said that they plan to build long-term from within via the draft and will not sacrifice either high value picks or young players in search of a big name target.
Any of those teams would have to be sniffing copious amounts of glue to make those deals....Why on earth would any of them gut their teams for Doughty? He's a good player with the potential to be great-but that's it. One player.
