Time to trade for Nabby and a 2nd/3rd line tweener while we're at it.

Does this mean Niitty will start on LTIR? Will that free up even more cap space?

*sigh*

No, this was just answered. You do not get 'cap space' for LTIR, you get the ability to go OVER the cap, which we have no use for.

No. The cap space from LTIR is only used if you go over the cap.

PollakOnSharks 12:29pm via Web
Physical tests over, team meeting in 90 minutes. Havlat will skate tomorrow - "it’s just that we have to be careful with him," says McLellan

PollakOnSharks 12:34pm via Web Niemi update: Heeded advice not to ask where that cyst was. Goalie says he should be playing in a few days and regular season no worry.

haha, hopefully its not what we are all thinking...

Anyway, My mom just had a cyst removed from her damn pancreas and she was fine a week later (and by fine I mean the anesthetic wore off, the surgery itself was painless). I'm sure he's fine.

nope, GOOD buttermilks. Like the ones in Chico next to the safeway on west sac.

In other words no need for the maple

He played 81, 73, and 78 games the last 3 seasons. He's not 'always injured'.
Literal much?

It's more like debunking a myth. Constantly injured would assume he's missed a lot of games recently and that is not the case. Stop spreading misinformation and lies.

He got hit with a puck in the face before training camp officially began - 15 stitches.

I think he may have missed one practice? Maybe not... He's fine and playing now for sure.

No, constantly injured does NOT assume he's missed any games really...and when he's missed games is a whole other story.

I was referring to the fact that he has had numerous injuries throughout his career. Several groin injuries...shoulder, hamstring, Head, etc. ..and again, I wasn't being literal.

Don't kid yourself with the 'he's played this many games' bs....he's played a ton of those games hurt.

Playing hurt and being injured are two different things. All players play hurt after the first month of the season pretty much.

Oh I guess you're right. He's only been hurt a few times then...and it's not like it was during the playoffs ever..or seemed to ruin his team's chance at the cup.
