Anisimov Knee MRI Negative; Sauer Injuries

Per Gross on Twitter:
Artem Anisimov going for MRI on knee. Something was flagged during the physical before he got on ice. Did not skate.

Wonderful......

ah well I am sure it's precautionary with Sauer and Anisimov.

Not worried until he starts to miss a few games. I don't blame them holding them both out a few preseason games but after that they should get games in

My friend works at the Apple Store at the Westchester Mall...Anisimov and Valentenko came in the other day for a genius bar appointment. My friend said he looked fine walking.

Let's hope its nothing serious.

I'm confident that it's nothing too serious but it just sucks that we already are getting bad news, I just hope we won't have this karma carry into the season.

What is with these non playing injuries?

How does Sauer & Anisimov come to camp with bum knees.

I hope they weren't doing something they're not suppose to be.

Anisimov had been skating this summer.

He was Barb Underhill, and must have been at the informal skates.

Im sure if something serious were happening he wouldn't have been able to skate all summer.

That's more interesting than a bum knee for sure.

Now let's hope the best for Sauer.
What were his prior injury issues again?

IIRC, he had hip surgery years ago, and his injuries generally were in that region.
