That Vincour kid is pretty good. Not the kind of game you expect from a Czech.

Apparently Morrow "tweaked" his knee.

Dillon had a rough game, but I'm not worried. I think he should be in the AHL no matter how good he looks, at least till midseason. I'm not a fan of rushing D-men, and am a fan of over-ripening prospects.

From the Stars: Morrow left the game with a minor tweak in his knee. He's fine. It was just precautionary.

I was as the game tonigth and the Ribeiro, Morrow, Ryder line was everywhere, as a big Ribeiro fan and it's the first time i see him play live since 2006, really apprciated how he is more responsible defensively.

Loved Goligoski and Vincourt, that guy as to be in your line-up this year, i really think you are maybe one top 6 to really have a solid team.
Great pick-up with Ryder in the off-season, seems to have rebuilt that chemistry with Ribeiro, can't wait the season to start to see how much damage your first line will make.

You are underdog this year, but like i said, you're maybe only one player away from a top 5-6 finish in the conference.

Razor's Tweet about Ribeiro made me giggle: "Booed throughout, Ribeiro deserved, and REALLY enjoyed his First Star selection tonight at the Centre Bell. #bigloop #howyoulikemenow"

That's the little weasel we all know and love.

Hey guys, did Souray play today? If so, how did he look - if not, where is he expected to slot in come regular season?

Souray didn't play tonight. He'll probably be paired with Daley at even strength to start with and they'll see how that works. He'll also get lots of minutes on the PP playing with Goligoski.

It was a little too late for me to watch the game, but I was really happy when I saw the result in the morning.

After reading your posts I am more happier, how our Stars did on the ice.

Great to see, that the first line is already working and that the young players (Vincour, Larsen, Fraser) impressed you.

What do you think, if Vincour can hold his level, can he replace Ott in the second line?

P.S. Did they wear Skrastins number on the helmet?

Didn't last night. Either they don't have them yet, or are waiting for regular season games to start.

No on the Vincour question. They really like the idea of Ott and Benn playing together and will give it a try for regardless of how Vincour plays, I think.

I like the idea, that Ott will take the faceoffs. I also hope Ott's points production will increase in the second line.

I didn't see the game tonight. Does anyone know where i can see highlights or a replay? I'm dying to see some Dallas hockey even if it is preseason.

Im a bruins fan but Michael Ryder is one of my favorite hockey players and I hated to see him go.

I was extremely excited to see him, morrow and Ribiero combined for...5? points. (I believe thats what it was)

I hope he does great things for you guys.

Looks like Im going to have to support Dallas this year! (Except for when the Bs are there, of course )

Good luck and have a great season!
