Tampere game was really crazy as you can expect from the result. Ilves led by four goals twice (1-5, 4-8), and Tappara wasn't quite far from tying it at the end.

First hat trick of the season by Jaakko Pellinen (Ilves). He scored only 2 goals last season and 4 before that. Funny thing that he got first-line spot as its regular Masi Marjamäki was serving suspension due to incident from last season.

1-2 in Turku so far.

Ässät are a shell of their last season form.

vsk92 thanks for the results but I'm just wondering why you enter the city on some teams and drop it from others plus calling HPK just Hämeenlinna?

And god damn Jokerit...3-0 ahead and managed to **** up the game...it's atleast 60 mins you have to focus there...I hope Erkka gives them some skating lessons after this.

I was there watching the game and I must say Tappara was really bad at least the first half of the game but then they scored some lucky goals and that was much more interesting

Assat beats Blues 3-1! Not a bad start so far it seems. What are your thoughts on the season so far my fellow Assat maniacs?

Is Jyrkkio hurt or just benched for bad performance? Is Santavuori demoted to the 3rd line because of his play, or just to try to mix up the line chemistry?

Powerplay is needing Caldwell and even Malkamäki so bad. It is just brutally crappy. The biggest questionmark, the goaltending has been the best part of the team (has given us a chance to win), defence has been ok (Kudroc's skating has improved, second in the league in average icetime with 26:13 and no penalties in 4 games) and offence has been pretty bad (a bunch of keyplayers struggling, Mika Niemi looking good though). Getting better slowly, but surely by the game.

Was benched the one game likely just because we just needed more muscle over there. Jyrkkiö has been just fine and in the line-up today again.

Lazy play put Santavuori there.

Blues better get a real goalie soon. Koivisto lets in far too many soft goals.

This. They should get Jarmo Myllys out from retirement home, even he'd be better.

Or Tappara's for that matter. They are letting ridiculous amounts of goals in.
