Yeah, and the cool part is that he was going for that goal clearly since there wasn't an Ässät-player near the goal and Riksman was in a position where it could happen.

There's a whole lot of potential and anything could happen, but I'd guess his next stop would be the KHL if he has a really good season here and if then that would go well he might have a shot at the NHL. Who knows.

indeed, 6 games into the season, there is no way for them to turn it around, all is lost

Agreed, Zaborsky's destination next year will probably be KHL, if he stays healty and keeps up scoring.

Pretty much carrying the team so far.

Good for every other team that HIFK has had a slow start.

Damn you Dufva.

Ässät has never won a game as the visiting team when the home team has had Risto as the headcoach.

I hope, JYP dont make anything big changes without thinking it properly. Aho is cheap and decent coach.

Roster is kind of good, but Pihlström, Hytönen and Malmivaara are for sale cos they will bring some cash in table.

This might be gapyear for JYP. We will rise again.soon (hopefully)

Markus is playing like Miettinen, I can just feel Mikael's frustration.

Friday evening in Pori, against TPS and 20 minutes of powerplay.

Lose 0-1 anyway.

Could HIFK possibly suck more?

Markus Granlund shouldnt be on the first line, when is Pesonen going to be ready to play?

Looks like Armia is playing in the 3rd line today. Is it a demotion based on his previous games, or do they just think he'll have better chemistry with Niemi and Savinainen? I haven't seen any Ässät games this season, so I can't really comment on Armia's play or the reasoning behind this.

He has pretty played poorly overall (even considering the different factors) so he was demoted, but that line has potential since Savinainen is physical and a hard worker and Niemi has very good hockey sence and passing ability.
