I don't know about Wellwood but Maxwell is a fairly smart hockey player and I see him as someone who can make a living in the NHL. We'll see how it all works out.

Atleast you know what you're getting with the guy. He was brutal in the regular season but was a warrior in the playoffs for the Canucks a few years back. Nice guy too.

I think the "confirmed with link" monicker given to this thread's title shouldn't be there. Since when is someone's tweet confirmation of something. Should be from a reliable source before it's confirmed.

Obviously there is some confusion here as to who really signed him. However, if you look up Kyle Wellwood on NHL.com, they have him with the Jets.

He was on the Jets roster, which is why it was confirmed with link. Perhaps NOW it should be removed.
