"Meet the Flyers" CSN

When will the show be taped this year? If anyone is interested, I am organizing a van (or bus) trip with a tailgate party outside the Skate Zone. Free dogs and beer. My treat.

It won't be taped until we know who the team actually is...so maybe November?

I doubt it would be that late.

Maybe late September.

I believe CSN will be reserving the entire prime time block for the broadcast... It will take at least that amount of time to introduce all the new faces.

Better hope Coatesy doesn't get wind of this, or else your hot dogs and beer will suddenly vanish.

It'll have to be a sitcom spanning several episodes.

ok to clarify... mark you were close its held on the first sunday of training camp...

at the skate zone in vorhees in the roller rink (if you can find it ahah)

puckboy your talking about tailgating welp better be there at like 6 or 7

last year i went friday saturday and sunday (sunday being the taping of "meet the flyers") the flyers were scheduled to hit the ice at 930 while recovering players and light skate players were out at 830 (pronger, leino & betts were out last year) anyway... i got there at 800 and there was already about 150 people there... by the time 9 rolled around there was damn near 500-600 people and if you ever been to skate zone its not that large... it was a mad house... all 3 days were so packed... and as for parking FORGET ABOUT IT!... people were parking at the not that nearby ritz theater and walking over... it was quicker... so if you plan a tailgate first get clearance from skate zone cause im sure you'd be taking up multiple spots and causing more traffic ... just some advice.. take it or leave it from some one who pretty much lives at that place..

This warms my heart

And Billy, my bad, I knew it was around the beginning of camp, I went 2 of the 3 days last year and 1 of each the 2 prior years. We just parked across the street in that companies lot.

MTF update

Well the tailgate option is out. We'd have to get a permit from the township.

Anybody know if there is a Pizza Hut or diner close by? Maybe an after-glow party?

Nobody cares?

Hey guys, its going to be free pizza . . . if nobody is interested that's fine. I just thought it would be the nice thing to do for all my fellow HFBoard Flyers people. Guess I was wrong in being a niceguy?

I guess a slice of pizza isn't worth the potential of being *****.

MTF afterglow party

We can meet at the McDonald's in Voorhees after the taping. It would be cool if they have the orange shakes by that time (for Halloween). My treat if they do (small size, of course!).

Those, as well as the Shamrock Shakes are fantastic... because MickeyDee shakes have Trans Fats in them.

Anyway, thanks for the invite... but unfortunately I cannot make it. I will look for you all on the airing... Please don't jump on Homer too hard for the Summer moves.

Sadly I will only be at the first saturday and any sat or sunday practices after that...

being a HUGE Riversharks fan (yes the independent baseball team under the Ben Franklin Bridge in cruddy Camden) it is their last game and they are having a jersey auction after the game and I already have tickets so I unfortunatley may not be at the Meet The Flyers event unless the times line up perfect... and some costume changing may be in order in between events (Flyers to Riversharks gear)
