Are people going to be able to record and put together little highlight packs for Emelin and Tonordi etc? Going to miss the game, but desperate to see some of the young blood, especially the big boys on D...

For me it's all about the rookies/prospects. I'll be interested to see Cole and AK too of course, but I wouldn't expect them to be working their hardest. The guys who want to earn slots, either now or in the future, don't get many chances like this to make an impression.

Of tonight's roster I'm most interested in Trotter, Engqvist, Palushaj, Berger, Yemelin, Tinordi and Diaz. Interested to get a look at Blunden and Woywitka too, but not to the same degree. Also keen to get a look at how Weber's looking and if he's made any significant progress over the summer (ie continuing to get stronger).

Stream for the Game Tonight?

Is there an online stream for the game tonight that anyone knows about? Or radio, perhaps?

Please drop your thoughts.

Blunden, too. People said he was just hitting anything and everything.

Apparently those are the lines.

Dear MAG, please don't be serious...

Gill-Tinordi
Diaz-Weber et Woywitka-Emelin
Well actually if these are indeed the lines, they make a ton of sense. Besides the 4th line, made up of players who have little to no chance of playing in the NHl this year, the other three lines all have the potential (due to various injuries and what not) at some point during the season. Probably not, knock on wood, but yeah, if Blunden or Trotter get called up they will probably be in the 4th line, with Engqvist if he's already there. i think they know that Engqvist can play center so they want to see how Trotter fares. If Palushaj comes up he'd probably on some sort of scoring line, as far as Willsie is concerned, well he's probably ahead of Massé on the depth chart, so that's why he's playing there. I'd say that the only trios of real importance to watch are the 1st and 3rd, as well as how well Palushaj plays with AK. No, these look like very well thought out lines to me. As far as the D is concerned, i don't know. Two Americans, two Swiss and two... yeah i don't know, Woywitka sounds Polish so maybe his grandparents were under communist occupation? There's gotta be a connection there somewhere...

In 09-10 he took 90 fo and had a 33.3%. Best to stick him to wing.

There's a lot of right handed shooting forwards. 7 by my count.

Good, two fairly even rosters going head to head. Remember that last game against the Islanders last year? It was like most of our starters against their C team, what a joke. But i guess thats what happens when one team is paying their last game and the other still has like 3 to go. Hopefully this year all the teams play a similar schedule.

Well, he should learn, cause he could really be an asset to the Habs with his size and physical play.

Lol, that was my first thought. Don't really get the pairings on D to be honest. Never in a million years will any of these pairings actually come to fruition, so why try them? Oh well, whatever, its preseason.

Some people here talk out of their hats without even knowing anything about Tinordi's skating. Wake up.

And you'd think Gill would be respected after his 2 seasons here.

Yemelin destroying Ribeiro would please me. Hopefully RDS doesn't go into black-out mode when my DVR tries to record the game. That would be just awful to come home from work to.
