Not sure who you were talking about, but all i was saying is that these two D would never be a pairing in a real game, that would just have made more sense to pair them with Diaz or Weber (or even Wowitka and Emelin for that matter). I have tons of respect for Gill, and am big supporter of Tinordi. It's just them being paired together is a bit weird to me.

Of tonight's roster I'm most interested in Trotter, Engqvist, Palushaj, Berger, Yemelin, Tinordi and Diaz. Interested to get a look at Blunden and Woywitka too, but not to the same degree. Also keen to get a look at how Weber's looking and if he's made any significant progress over the summer (ie continuing to get stronger).
I generally agree, I threw Cole in there just for the fact he's new to our team and AK, because I'm interested in seeing his work ethic and his skill always intrigues me. I'm hoping for big things from his this year, likely won't get much to indicate that tonight, but i'm interested to see him none the less.

Heck Gionta could fart next to Ribeiro and he might give us his version of an epileptic seizure.

This is just effing great. I didn't think I was gonna last another day. Pumped to see Yemelin, but disappointed that Patches won't be in.

Yeah its a bit overboard. I'll be happy if he plays good, a hit or two would be nice.. but people are expecting him to bury everyone he sees.

Im looking forward to seeing Berger.

I think it's great that both Dallas and Montreal are putting two potential top lines in the first game--nice first measuring stick since they'll probably play against each other a lot on the game. Look forward to seeing how Tinordi handles himself against what might be a lot of the first two lines. Trotter at center will be another focal point for me, as well as Diaz and Yemelin obviously.

I think we're just having fun with the fact that they're both giants and Gill is slow as molasses.

Do you guys expect any fights out of the players dressed tonight ?

Against a western team, the habs heve no goons and said they dont need one.

But surely there are guys who can do the job in this lineup.

3 hours!

Will celebrate this landmark day by trying the new Pizza Kono downtown.

If I don't come back, tell the fanbase I died happy. Fat, but happy...

I find it curious that most of us are psyched to finally get to watch our habs in action again, but a select few are focused on the possibility of a fight.

Well we are watching hockey, isnt it ? It was a legitimate question.

I asked since im worried about the people who try to destroy hockey by changing the way its meant to be played. Its one aspect of the game like many others...

As for the skills. I have no doubt we will see some great plays.

Would you have prefered that I asked who will score ?

Ok, lets do that.

Who will score tonight against Dallas ?

Overlord, thing about it. Seeing the Bruins win the Cup probably seeded a lot of violent urges in some of our fanbase. These laid dormant all summer, and have to be expunged as soon as possible :-)

I wasn't making fun, only commenting on something I noticed. Last year I remember someone had a fight card made out . One thing i hate about pre-season are the staged fights. If they happen in the heat of the moment, cool.

I was there when Archer got his face caved in by laraque
