Vick is lucky Canty didn't drive him to the ground or he would've been taken out on a stretcher. He should be minding his manners rather than acting like a spoiled little brat.

Dear Lord is Joe Buck ****ing terrible. I would rather cut my ears out of my head than listen to that man call a game. I mean, you are calling a punt return for a touchdown. One of the most exciting plays in football. And you still can't NOT be monotonous for a few seconds? God do I despise him.

That was just awful. Reminded me of Pat Summerall back in the day when he was doing games with Madden. Never showed ANY emotion, he sounded like he was falling asleep half the time.

I think in order to reduce QB injuries they need to get rid of all the dumb rules protecting QBs. If the defense can sack the QB how they want then the QBs will stop standing around in the pocket with the ball for so long.

The idea that they're protected makes the QBs more willing to stand in the pocket and wait wait wait instead of trying to get a quick pass off so they can't be sacked.

Bite your tongue sir. Summerall was a legend. It's an insult to mention Buck in the same sentence with him.

I hope Sanchez utilizes Keller more often. He is a huge target and is more of a wide reciever then a tight end. Start throwing it more to Keller and Holmes, Plax, and Mason will be able to get open more often

Switch the Jets and Baltimore scores and I'd agree.

Giants have an absolutely brutal 2nd-half schedule. Just brutal. They need to keep their injured guys on the shelf until early November and stem the tide.

Oh yeah.

Within 5 games we play @NE, Philly, @NO, GB. And after that we have to play the Jets and then the Cowgirls (twice). Gonna be rough. If we aren't healthy, we don't stand a chance.

The only thing I can see happening (aside from getting mauled in all those games) is that the Giants are looked at as a trap game rather than a marquee matchup.

If the Giants go 3-5 in that stretch, they'll make the playoffs.

Just seems like a really tough schedule for a team who didnt make the playoffs the previous season

Great news on Chad Jones:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-play-in-2012/

Quote:
Wednesday is Jones’s 23rd birthday, and he’s going to mark the occasion by publicly showing off how far he’s come, running a 40-yard dash on the track at a New Orleans high school. It’s not realistic to think Jones would be as fast as he was when he ran a 4.57-second 40 at the 2010 Combine, but he does believe he’s getting close.

Obviously its still a long way to go for the kid to have a football career, but thinking even the most optimistically possible would be maybe next year, maybe the year after that.

Grant will be gone by that point.

It sounds like that's what they are aiming for.

Even if he could have an impact on special teams...

Brewers won.
Badgers won.
Yankees won.
Giants ....

I really think we get a good win here. AZ's secondary blows so the O should be fine. Kolb might have some success vs our secondary but eventually the pass rush will cause some turnovers.

NYG 33 AZ 16
