FA Cup and Carling Cup season 2011-2012

Let's separate this from the other Premier League threads. In the Carling Cup, ManU face Leeds United tonight at Elland Road. Paul Pogba is expected to start for ManU, will be interesting to see the rest of the squad.

This is apparently the squad fro the game:

Quote:
Man Utd (from): Lindegaard, Amos, Fabio, Jones, Evans, Giggs, Park, Carrick, Fletcher, Valencia, Owen, Berbatov, Macheda, Diouf, Pogba, W Keane, James, Brown, M.Keane, Thorpe, Fryers.
A lot of youngsters and Giggs.

Not on TV anywhere, so negative.

Down 1-0 to League 2 side Shrewsbury by the way, BBC says Shrewsbury are putting Arsenal to the sword.

No link

Gibbs just tied the game at 1. Apparently we are getting outplayed, I don't like the sound of that.

Let's just hope they'll come out of this one with a freaking win.

AOC scores at the 57th minute mark... Gooners up by one (2-1).

Edit: Benayoun scores at the 79th minute (3-1)

United's back four right now is Fabio-Berbatov-Carrick-Valencia.

Newcastle comes through with a literal last second goal in OT to win the game over Nottingham Forest. Side Show Colo with the last second winner putting Newcastle thru to the last 16. Fingers crossed we stay away from the Manchester duo in the next round as well.

This is how to silence hecklers:

United finished the game with 10 men due Fryers' injury and with the previously mentioned back 4. And Leeds still could not score... Berbatov>>>Evans at CB.

Gerrard returning tonight, will come off the bench.

Reina, Kelly, Robinson, Carragher, Coates, Lucas, Spearing, Maxi, Kuyt, Bellamy, Suarez. Subs: Gerrard, Carroll, Downing, Wilson, Shelvey, Flanagan, Doni.

is the team.

Oh jeez Ray Wilkins is the second commentator

Hope Brighton get to the Premier League before much longer. Their stadium carries sound greatly and leads to great atmospheres.

Bellamy!!!

It isn't on television anywhere in the world, so no.

Liverpool look much better on the large pitch (like the Arsenal match) and with a certain Charlie Adam out of midfield. Really fluid play here.

Alright thanks anyways. But isn't it somewhat strange that a Man City game isn't being televised?

Only two Carling Cup games get televised per day in the opening rounds (this might be the case later too). Considering that one televised game is Chelsea/Fulham and the other Brighton(new stadium)/Liverpool really not that weird honestly. It's mostly because a lot of people don't care about the League Cup, but it is a trophy, so I don't understand that.

And Bellamy just nearly scored the goal of his life from a super long free kick. Juninho-esque hit.

Sturridge just robbed McEachran of a great goal. McEachran plays a one-two with Malouda and seems to just pass it in, when Sturridge slides in to get the goal. Selfish ****er. There was another Fulham player going after it, but I'm sure it would have gone in. And Sturridge pulls a muscle and goes off. Idiot.
