For the NJ Transit train "Flash Pass" that is $350 this year for season ticket holders only, is it round trip trains from any station and does it include the Newark Light Rail?

Per Jimmy Buff's Facebook:

Quote:
"Sad day in Jimmy Buff land, the Devils have fired all private food vendors and turned them into more City Grills. We would like to thank all of our Devils Fans who have supported us since we helped open the Arena. Make sure to call and tell the Devils how you feel. Maybe with enough complaints they will change their minds. If not we'll see you at the restaurants.

Thanks again,

James Racioppi
(Owner) Jimmy Buffs"
Are you ****ing kidding me? They had the best stand in the Arena, and that's where I went to get all my eats - that entire section of the upper concourse. There was ALWAYS a huge line. This better be a misunderstanding otherwise this is a colossal failure on the Devils part.

Yeah nothing but ****** burgers and chicken fingers and dogs? **** that!

They'll be hearing from me tomorrow.

At bare minimum, they better keep the same concepts under their catering management, or they can shove their food cards up their ass.

I agree with Krinkle, I don't eat at their stands, I eat at the Boardwalk stand, sushi/asian stand, balcony concessions, etc...

So all the food is now generic...just like it was at the CAA?

What was the point of the fancy new arena for the fans?

That is yet another un-fan-friendly move as the Taste of Newark stands (Jimmy Buff's, Hobby's, etc) were the best in the arena and brought in lots of cash for the team.

Who is making these curiously bad decisions?

Just another way to squeeze a few more dollars of profit out. Now the money goes directly into their pockets, not Hobby's or Jimmy Buff's. What an absolute disgrace. This will blow up in their faces. I guess that area will now be "The Tastes of Newark Airport." Dinosaur BBQ can't open soon enough.

I called Hobby's and spoke to Marc.
He said at this point he does not know if they will be invited back this season.
They will not be there tomorrow night.

All fans who like Hobby's, Jimmy Buff's or the other food stands in the Taste of Newark should call the Devils and let them know you are unhappy about it.
Or email mgmt@newjerseydevils.com

I don't like the corner cutting that seems to be going on here.
The Devils do get a cut of every dollar spent at these stands.

Letting the Devils executives know how we feel is the only hope we have to see these stands back at The Rock.

Spread the word.

What's even better is now for the first time there will actually be people sitting in all those sections over there for every game. I guess the Devils saw potential dollar signs from the 1,000+ new season ticket holders and told the only vendors who serve edible food to hit the bricks so that they can sell them chicken fingers, disgusting undercooked pizza, and hot dogs at a 5,000% markup.
