Walked by a bunch of the younger Jets (prospects) today on my way home. They must have been heading to the Fairmont for their afternoon nap. Didn't recognize any of them.

Seeing AHL'ers was a regularity last season to and from work. Not sure if NHL teams will stay at the Fairmont though.

A few of them were wearing sweet Jets windbreakers, gave me chills. By the time I realized what was happening, they were gone.

I am so jacked for the game(s) tonight. Basically just watching the clock at this point.

Ya, I'll be watching the season on CenterIce.
Reading this thread reminded me of the year we got our "old Flames" back. Everyone was fired up for hockey's return to the deep south.

Was really fun. Wish I was up there to see it tonight.

I have heard that there will be "Thrasher" faithful in Carolina and Nashville for the preseason games. Hope the team remembers the difference between the fans and the ownersinkingship down here. Let them know we are still here on the boards pulling for them!!!

So i've now got a new channel 393 called JETSHD "TSN Winnipeg Jets Coverage". Says the game is on at 8:30 (Eastern for me).

Not sure if it'll kick in when the game starts or not, channel is blank right now. Think i'll give Shaw a call.
