We have to many forwards.....either Lou knows there will be no season or there will be alot of trades very soon.
The way I look at it, it could pay off big. Imagine teams like Boston, for instance. they have almost no one signed.
And also, keep in mind we're coming off of the largest (IMO) dumping mouvement ever in this league. LOTS of teams either in transition or rebuilding.
What does this mean? IMO, it means there are a couple of strong teams and *some* middle of the pack teams but we could use more and there WILL be more. It's mathematical. You need 8 teams per conference making it.
This means that early in the season, teams will see opportunities and look for players if they think they have a window. And then Lou will have several players waiting.
It's not a certainty but it's a possibility. It depends a lot on what the CBA looks like and how some of those players step up. Depending on the CBA results, some guys' salaries will look decent or awful.
