Nice, get to see Girardi, Dubinsky, AA, Lundqvist, Avery, Eminger, from the regulars and a whole bunch of prospects that could be fun to watch in MDZ, Erixon, McIlrath, Miller, Thomas, Bourque, McColgan and Hagelin. Pretty psyched; that's a solid lineup for the first pre-season game. So happy to be going.
We lucked out with the broadcast and got MSG+ because they merged the NYR-NJD broadcasts. But for some reason with my cable provider I don't get MSG+ in hd.
I hate not watching games live, I remember last year the last NYG game overlapped with a Rangers-Panthers game and was going to watch it on rangers in 60, but before it started I couldnt help but see the score on the bottom of the screen. 3-0 Panthers.
So I usually just flip back and forth. I'm probly gonna watch as much of the preseason game as I can, then go to RBNY. Watch highlights and replays of the rest of the game later.

I'm excited to see all of the young players get a shot. Very interesting the Rangers are allowing McColgan to get a game in. Most 18 year olds they hold back. Same goes for Miller.
Zajac has a torn achilles tendon. He is expected to be sidelined until at least November. The Debbies say its a 3 month injury which places Zajac returning in November while other athletes have missed close to six months with a torn achilles. 3-6 month recovery from a torn achilles.

I am pretty sure its 3-6 months before he can START training. Its one of those injuries that is really bothersome for an athlete because he won't be able to do ANYTHING in terms of training.

Glad to see one of these bad boys up again. I've been counting down the days to see the Rangers take the ice again since the game 5 loss, whenever the season ends it feels like there's a void in my life (as sad as that sounds.) LGR!
There is no preseason home opener this year cause they can't use msg yet. Technically tomorrow is a home game...friday night is at the prudential center
