Any one catching the Paul Martin smear campaign on Twitter? It's trending

This doesn't have anything to do with Pens on Twitter per se, but since I was perusing on there to check out the Paul Martin thing (which is dumb, by the way, although some are funny), I saw Seth from EN posted a video of McPhee from the draft of him "trolling" the Pens fans. I know TD commented on it in the GDT and I called him an ass. Anyway, the comments on the video are hilarious. It's amazing to me all the Flyers, Rangers, Caps, etc. fans getting sooo upset at the booing AND even upset at the booing of Bettman. We're the first fans in 50 years to boo at the draft. Pioneers, I tell you.

/end rant

He's listed at 6'0 189, if he is actually 189 I'm not sure he can put much more on.

Hockey players mostly look underwhelming physically. Patrick Kane is built like a 12 or 13 year old boy and he's a hell of a player.

He's definitely an exception rather than the rule.

Kane is one of the most extreme examples of the underwhelming build of a lot of players. I find a lot of them rather scrawny. Nowhere near the powerful men you see in football etc. Hockey players don't really have to be built huge though. The game of hockey is a lot about skill.

not a penguin player but I always have hilarious interactions with Dave Molinari, the pens reporter from the Post-Gazette.

I saw he tweeted a bunch of players we would not be giving qualifying offers to so I tweeted this

@DoctrSteveBrule
Quote:
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO "@MolinariPG: Penguins won't give qualifying offer to Pierro-Zabotel"
then he DM'd me saying: "Life can be cruel sometimes, Tyler. Sorry you had to learn that lesson this way."

He's my favorite Pens reporter because he doesn't act like a know it all and always responds to people with questions

more to the exchange

DM from him: "And here I thought it was because of my movie-star good looks."

Yeah, I asked him today if he had heard anything about invites to the rookie camp and he'd answered me back within 15 minutes.

Is it just me or does a slow old man walking with a slow old dog right beside him bring a smile to your face. #trustyolpal #bestfriends
