Marian Cisar?

Hey guys, got a question for ya, what happened to Marian Cisar? I know he went to Europe to play 2 years ago but why did he leave, contract issues or just didn't want to be in the nhl and is there any chance preds or anyone will sign him and he'll be back? He seemed like a pretty good young forward in his short stint in the NHL.

Marian is not going to play in Nashville. He will be in Europe, where he has surely place in lineup.

I believe he is under contract, but chose to leave when he wasn't given a spot on the team a couple years ago out of camp.

A shame...Poile even thought alot of him. He could have been a good NHL'er.

Trivia: He was the 1st player the Predators ever had.

he generally doesn't post that much in the offseason. it's a shame he never really stuck around here on HF, same with BluesConvert and Jwhouk, though I worry they'd start luring the fangirls over here.

it would be worth it if Swamprat would come back. That man really has a way with words.

no, it wouldn't. i don't even look at that board anymore, unless i'm VERY bored. i enjoy swampy's musings, but I can't take the ignorance factor that comes with a great number of the regulars over there.

not to mention,

Tootoo should be on the first line
Scott Hartnell is disappointing
Chris Mason stinks, let's sign Steve Shields
Vlad Orszagh is a longterm component of this team
etc, etc.

I especially enjoy Axis72, best known for seeing one game a year living overseas, and offering his insights as fact. Weeee.

Cisar was pretty promising his first year with the Preds, but after he was injured he was never quite the same, even in Milwaukee. The Preds still own his rights but I doubt he will ever play in the North America again.

Got to love Axis and his Legwand is one dimensional comments. I also love the guy that said our biggest weakness was puck moving defensive prospects.
