casino attract alot of negative crowds and crime rates will rise! and we dont need that here in elmont the neighborhood has changed for the worse as is and id hate to see it get worse!

if this came to a vote and the vote involved a new coliseum but only with a new casino to come with it id vote NO all day! i love the isles alot but i love my home and neighborhood more....just my .02$
I drove through Elmont for work 20 years ago and ten years ago I went through and saw it was rough and nowadays I wonder how bad Nassau will get.

But then I see the money will return as it has in Brooklyn and Manhattan......so Elmont could be quite a bit nicer in time due to FP, SM and GC being right there (no one is leaving those nice areas), but a casino bringing the area down could be the nail in the coffin for Elmont. Floral Park taxes will go up quite a bit (resembling Garden City) to have a police force boosted.

Welcome to NY Government.

Hey Ol time you never answered these because you have no answers but try again -

corrupt politicians have screwed things up for 25 years so what makes you think things will be different in nassau for the next 25+?

Why do you prefer Bethpage credit union as a sponsor instead of Citibank or JPMorganChase?

Why do you expect a NYI owner to spend to win when they don't get enough revenue to be iin the top 20 teams in nassau? Mets are top 5 in MLB revenue in Queens..

Explain to me how NYI in nassau will be the 3rd highest worth value franchise in NHL like Mets in Queens MLB are?

Why do you prefer no media in nassau?

Why do you prefer no mass transit?

Why do you prefer a miniscule fan base in nassau?

Why do you prefer free agents avoiding nassau?

Why do you think repubs took kickbacks from SMG to screw NYI so long?

Why did it take Suozzi a Dem to get Wang the extra revenue to break above even? Why didn't a repub do that?

Do you really think nassau pols post 2015 won' screw NYI in revenue again?

Do you think nassau has enough corporate support to purchase luxury boxes?

If nassau is broke and firing teachers and cops, how can they afford the infrastructure for a new arena?

What team in the suburbs wins these days?

Why can't NYI win since the early 90's and free agency?

Why do you want to keep the status quo when it doesn't work?
