If it were up to me, we wouldn't keep track of wins/losses for GDT-makers. I'm just continuing a thread that was already started. Volunteers are a commodity around here and I don't care for things that discourage them. Not once have I ever felt bummed because the Sharks lost a game that I made a GDT for. If I got a few smiles out of it, then the effort was worth it to me.

I love the fact that GDT's are something that more and more boards on HF take pride in. It's something that the fans are actually in control of and have fun with.

In seriousness, I loved making that last GDT even if we got owned by the Wings.

My efforts are always worth it to me and for someone to say it isn't because the team didn't win is rather insulting. I'd have a hell of an ego to think that somehow my GDT had anything to do with a win or loss.

Philosophically moral higher ground ****? Wow, I'd say it's more like staying in touch with reality.

Harrumph! I totally agree, our board's GDTs are one thing that separates us for the more plebeian boards. Anyway, my one for the Boston game got us a win!

In the past, it's been sign ups and/or invitations.

Until the schedule is known in two hours, kinda hard for folks to plan around a "maybe" date.

Each do a GDT for a different game. If both games are won, they must compete again. It would be a good problem to have
