#1: Right now Floyd looks iffy and there are no guarantees he'll play. If he's healthy, I'd go that way, but if not I'd go S-Jax if he can go. If both are out I might look at the waiver wire to see what's out there.
#2: Toss up between Moore and Branch. Obviously you like Moore's upside but if he goes boom or bust this week, neither would surprise me. And I'd play the Miami D
My roster is almost set but I have a few question marks regarding my #2 RB. I just picked up from waivers Dexter McCluster (WR/RB) and dropped Lee Evans, who's ankle problem doesn't seem to get any better, according to his coach.
I currently have Mendenhall as my #1 back, so there's no issues there. I have a solid list of backups to choose from, well that's according to me of course , but I don't know who to pick. I'm leaning towards McCluster but I'll let the people give me their sound advice.
I have to choose between....
James Starks @ Bears
Pierre Thomas Vs Texans
Steven Jackson Vs Ravens
Daniel Thomas @ Browns
Dexter McCluster @ Chargers
Thanks in advance
Edit: A mod can delete the thread I started since we'll be using this one I guess.
League 1:
Flex spot: Stephen Jackson/Cadillac Williams (whichever starts) vs Baltimore, Antonio Brown @ Indy, Malcolm Floyd vs KC
This has to be Floyd, right? Against a KC defense that's allowed 89 points?
League 2:
Flex spot: Lynch vs Arizona, Doucet @ Seattle, Moore vs Houston, Branch at Buffalo, Helu at Dallas
Defense: Miami @ Cleveland, NE @ Buffalo
Figure for the flex it's either Branch or Moore, I'm leaning towards Branch right now. Defense, I'm not crazy to take Miami over NE, am I?
I'd take Brown against the Colts for your 1st question.
The Colts are a train wreck and the Steelers are going to crush them IMO. Take into consideration that Brown is probably one of the fastest players in the league and he'll be playing in a dome, I like his chances at getting some solid yardage plus a score. I wouldn't be surprised if he caught one or two bombs from Big Ben.
Rams RB's versus the Ravens isn't all that inviting and Floyd isn't 100% so playing a depleated Chiefs team is probably the best week to give him a rest so he can come back strong against the "fish" in week 4.
Second question would be a toss up between Moore and Branch. Both games will be high scoring, but I think you should go with Branch for the simple reason that Moore wasn't 100% last week and Meachem + Henderson + Graham should all be better targets for Brees IMO.
If the Dolphins can manage to stop the run, it's a no-brainer... go with the Dolphins. The Pats secondary isn't all that great and Fitzpatrick seems to be throwing darts for the first couple of weeks. I will always pick a team that won't get burned against the pass versus the run... but that's just me.
Need 3 out of:
James Starks: @ CHI
Lesean McCoy: v NYG
Beanie Wells: @ SEA
Jonathan Stewart: v JAC
Roy Helu: @ DAL
I figure McCoy and Wells are automatic, but I need help between the other three. Right now I'm leaning towards Stewart based on the matchup, and I figure he's due for a score. Not to mention Starks is getting fewer carries than I thought he would.

I'd wait and see what exactly McCluster's role is gonna be before I start him. Daniel Thomas is well on his way to taking the starting job there, so I'd definitely consider him. Personally I think I'd go Starks, but Daniel Thomas is right there.

I have Tate and Thomas in right now. If Jackson plays I'll prob go with Jackson and Tate.
I'd also go Tate and D Thomas.

Carolina hasn't been running much, and you have DWill to worry about, and possibly even Goodson for a few plays, so I'd probably go Starks. Helu will be the starter there before long as he's the better back, but I don't think he's not an option just yet.
Brandon Marshall @ Cle
AJ Green vs SF
Daniel Thomas @ Cle
Brandon Lloyd @ Ten
Knowshon Moreno @ Ten
Aside from me personally not being a fan of starting two guys from the same team I'd go Thomas and Marshall. Marshall is your best of the bunch, so if you don't want to start two Dolphins then go Marshall and Green.

Down to Moore or Ocho. I can see Ocho being more involved w/ Hernandez out, but Moore should continue to be a focus this week. Gun to my head I probly go Moore.

Sproles or Tolbert? ppr league.
Ford looks to be out again. Only thing with Moore is that Revis may be on him.
PPR I'd probably go Sproles. Tolbert doesn't catch a lot of balls(unless he's playing the Vikings that is) Mathews is there passing down back.

Moore has a horrible matchup, especially if Oakland's receivers are still injured. Revis or Cromartie on Moore? Ocho against the Bills invisible pass defense has to be a better play.

Well he had 8 catches against the Pats after his 9 catches vs. Minnie in week 1, so yea... I know he usually doesn't catch a lot of balls, but a little hard to ignore 17 catches through 2 games.
Blah.. i hate these difficult decisions. I need another flex spot damnit. ha. I was already leaning towards Sproles, so I will probly go with him. Just want some other opinions.
And yeah, I did forget moore was playing the Jets. Probly go Ocho and roll the dice.
You gotta start Big Ben. Grossman is a QB who can implode at any moment. Considering the situation (Cowboys home opener, MNF, intense rivarly, etc), the stage seems set for one his epic meltdowns we often saw in Chicago.
The Colts are a demoralized team right now, Big Ben could have a huge fantasy day.
My Flex spot is between
Hines Ward vs Indy
or
Nate Washington vs Den
I'm leaning towards Grossman, McCluster & Nate Washington. I think Grossman could be in a shootout while Pittsburgh will run the ball vs Indy.
Roethlisberger for sure, that Indy team is a trainwreck. I'd go with Greene, Oakland was carved up last weak by Buffalo in the running game. The flex...don't think there's a big difference. Probably go with Washington.

Grossman threw for 4 TDs against this Dallas D last year. I think this is a toss-up, Pittsburgh could run the ball a lot in their game. Grossman if you're willing to gamble, Ben if you want the guaranteed 15 points.
I'm not sure I want any KC back and even then I'm not sure McCluster is the one to own. Go Greene.
PPR League, who to start at flex and WR position (two players)?
Bradshaw @ Phi
Boldin @ Rams
Devery Henderson vs Hou
Lloyd @ Ten
Holmes @ Oak
I'm leaning toward Holmes and Boldin, but I could change the latter with Bradshaw at flex. What's your opinion?
Do not start Bradshaw!!!!! I started him last week, all i needed was 6 points, but tom coughlin hardly gives bradshaw any touches, and also he doesnt get any touches inside the redzone. All I would start Henderson and Boldin/Holmes... I would start Henderson for sure though.
