Then I would have to say this organization is a special kind of stupid and deserves everything they get.

I would feel more comfortable with him as a backup than Sanford. It will be interesting to see what happens. Not saying that this could be a significant bump in the road, but I think that Howson has to proactive in rectifying the situation and making sure that it doesn't put us behind the eight ball.
A high ankle sprain, especially for goalies, is a tough injury to come back from. 4 weeks is very optimistic.

Emery is attending Chicago's training camp on a tryout basis.

I'm sure that Howson could get Michael Leighton on the cheap.

My I suggest I'd rather have Dumbo the clown as our backup than Emery or Turco.

To bring this somewhat back on topic, I think I'd rather we try to get this guy in goal:

Either that or give Dainton a longer look.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

This injury could be a good thing, Marc-Andre Fleury missed about 3 months with a high ankle sprain, Dek won't be back soon. This gives Howson a chance to get someone good ala Turco. Or trade with NYI for Nabokov. Just get someone legit.

Dumbo was an elephant, and a flying one at that. I don't know how that skill would translate to the ice, but I'd be willing to give it a shot. So anyway I don't think your statement has the full overstatement effect you intended.

Now Bozo was a clown. Bilbo was a hobbit. Gonzo is a Muppet. Ponyo was that little anime kid. And Jeremiah was a bullfrog.

For you viewing pleasure.

The more idiotic the better to be honest. Google it, it gets better. You could have plenty of scary people to haunt your favorite four year old for years to come. Much like Turco or Emery would do to me.

Bozo was too easy to be honest.

He's already told you that it's useless appealing to his humanity, that last one is only whetting his unholy appetites further! Now he's probably thinking more in terms of Thanksgiving Roasted Bunny for a family of 15.

I loved him too, but Turco hasn't been good in years.

I'm attempting to induce humanity. It's a long and grueling process, but it's not without its rewards. I've already successfully proven that he has a sense of humor, for example.

My sister brought home a rabbit and couldn't think of a name for it. I told her to name it Stu. She finally got it after 20 minutes of laughter by everyone.

Oy gevalt.

The worst we've ever done along those lines is name one of our pet rabbits Eliyahu, because he became part of the family on what happened to be Easter Sunday. Didn't care for the wine we offered him, though.

Turco? Do you think he will be again old Turco? And Nabokov... hmm... I do not believe him to much now but maybe... .

P.S. And what about Pazzy?

Lol. The team should just sink or swim with Sanford as the backup for 2 weeks, not go out and sign a useless washed up goalie. I can't believe Turco was seriously suggested.

The sad thing is that he'd probably be a better option at this point than Turco, injury history and all.
