That was one of my favorite pasttimes...I love that feeling when you come out of an exam you knew you aced and people are saying "I didn't even finish it" or "it was damn hard" and you just try to keep your cool about it.

So...is anyone else curious what the NES theme song was that can calm a crying baby? I'm guessing Mega Man 2- Air Man Stage theme.

I was gonna say Guile's theme but that was SNES.

Tecmo Super Bowl. Definitely that.

Mostly Mario themes. Although Clock thinks I sing them way wrong. Pffft.

I did sneak a little SNES Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Country in there as well. She seemed to like SNES too. Good girl.

Since we are pretty much homebodies right now, we have the time. Clock gets his gaming time just based on the sheer number of poopy diapers he has changed.

The kids take up so much time as they get older. Right now we have Cubs and hockey for my son and Daisies for my daughter (who was also in a dance class that wasn't working out for her or the instructor... or my wife ) so that's four-five nights a week. Toss in the Sabre games I have and outside of insomnia, my time to game is next to none.

I'm normally in the same boat with my schedule, my wife's schedule and the kids' sports.

But being out injured the last 6 weeks has given me some time for it I didn't have before. My doc told me Monday I'm likely going to need another 4-6 weeks to fully heal. So I guess I'll be getting my gaming fix for a little bit longer.

Not gonna lie, I can't wait until our little ones' schedules prevent us from things like video games and hockey boards. That's one of the parts of parenting I'm looking forward to most. (albeit exhausting, I'm sure). But for now, since our little poop machine basically eats, sleeps and poops, I say bring on the video games.

Met a nice girl next last week, hung out with her a bit this weekend with a group of mutual friends. Seemed to hit it off pretty well, so I asked her today if she would like to go get dinner some night next week.

Got the ever popular "I'm not in any rush, we can see what happens". A simple 'no thanks' would have sufficed just fine.

She just break up with a guy or something? Could be a "legit" response.

I saw that on my Facebook feed last night. It is rather crazy.

In other news I need to kick this cold and soon. Though I doubt it'll happen as it is starting to effect my voice also.

My favorite so far is right now, when they start walking and talking (or trying to).
