Trust me I know how annoying it is when other fans come to the Kings board and start threads about fantasy hockey questions. That's why I went for the first fantasy hockey related thread here haha.
I fell asleep before the draft... my goalies are atrocious
You never know it with goalies. 2 years ago I had Niemi, Howard and Rask (goalies in 16 teams league are very important and I missed the draft) - all of them were backups to Huet, Osgood and Thomas. At the end of the year all of them became starters . I had the best goalies group in the league and won the championship cause of goaltending.
Thinking about dropping Brassard for Voracek. Good move?
You could argue in favor of both. Brassard is playing line 4 I believe. I did drop Brass for Jake, so I would encourage the same for you. But I also think Brass will bounce back
Premier League Players: We have no IR as part of our league. Kesler is on IR and there is no way to put him there. Think this is a problem. Don't think this can be changed. Kind of sucks.

You can't see those IR spots in any league. I just put Havlat there. You just poiny cursor at the blue square near the player's name and drag it down - IR spot will appear. Hopefully I explained it understandably.

Thanks, I understand but....the issue is the IR position is not set up at the league setting level. It will only allow me (and I'm sure everyone else) to only drag down to an open bench position.

We just dropped the player and made a post alerting the rest of the teams that we were doing so because the player was on IR. Try changing the Roster Edit Type from Drag and Drop to Classic and see if the IR spots show up. Go to where you would choose between their position and bench and the IR option should show up.

I don't know what's going on with the IR. We had IR spots last year, and when I renewed the league I kept the same scoring and settings.

I had an owner suggest that Yahoo is pretty much ignoring fantasy hockey, thus these kinds of bugs there that don't exist in football/baseball.
According to the commish tools, chanigng roster config is only a pre-draft function. So emailing Yahoo is probably the only recourse - and even that may be a fail.

Ideally, there is no re-draft and we are somehow able to get some IR spots one way or another.
If not, it's not as big a deal as it would be if the league were fuller. With 10 teams, the free agency field is more wide open than it ever has been before.

If youre league is that deep that you drafted them as starters, youre in trouble! There should be plenty of centers out there who will emerge and are a better choice then Brassard.
