I am psyched about seeing the Two Sharks and a Finn line at long last!

IMO, and Im a Sea Dog supporter and a huge Philips fan, is that he is a year away....could he play now YES, does he need to in order to continue his development or would he be a big asset to the Wild this year, NO to both questions thus he should be back to St John. Come back next year add ten lbs(185Plus or minus now) as a 19 year old he will be 6'1, 195lbs with a ton of skill and grit and he I believe will be ready.
Playing Center in the NHL and being responsible down low in your end is a tough task for any 18 year old--its more important to play for 10-15 years in the league than to rush--again just my opinion !

the new management won't rush him, i think they see him as a top 6 player and won't put him in the team to play 4th line/press box like DR did. Still excited for him and i'm more then willing to wait a few years and get a great player then to rush him and screw up his development, love his two way game love his dedication.

Well, I got a 12-pack of beer from my co-worker if I'd come to work tomorrow in his stead. And now this thing streams. It starts 3am Finnish time. I've got work at 9.

I think prospect camp, Traverse, and main camp/exhibition games will give him an idea what he needs to work on this year in juniors. I liked his hands, shot, positioning but he does try to dangle everyone. So, if he works on getting stronger and gets used to more cycling and playing defense, I think he is going to have a strong camp next year.

It is really hard not to be pumped for next year's training camp...gotta remember to enjoy the moment, haha.

I'd love for him to have a chance to play a couple regular season games, but he'd have to be a second line winger (unless someone thinks he can beat out Brodziak and Cullen for the center spot, which isn't going to happen). It would be great to see Bouchard slide over to center and give Phillips a couple games of NHL play before sending him back to Saint John.

So, you won't believe this but here goes: I went to sleep around midnight, woke up at 2.30am or so with a bit of stomach ache and nausea, went to toilet and it was gone after 25 minutes or so (don't worry, I'm fine, don't know what caused it but it's gone now and it wasn't anything big so no puking or anything).

Then, I realized that I'm not sleepy, and that the Wild home opener starts in 5. So long story short: Here I am, at least for 1st period but most likely for the whole game.

Already some good moments for Koivu, Seto, Heatley. Not sure why Heatley passed that one away though.

Well that was a role reversal with Heatley passing to Koivu.

'Twas a good pass, Koivu just miss-the-nettined.
