I find that hard to believe, to be honest. I have seen fellow Ducks fans have... well, creative opinions on here before, but I can't say I have come across that kind of idiocy in a long time.

Him being waived was written in capital letters on the wall for quite a while with the Ducks.

Sexton just has no spot with the Ducks. He's like a slightly weaker version of Jason Blake. Maybe he could fit into another team's top 6, but not the Ducks.

Not sure if I overlooked this, but Chicago has placed Brett McLean on waivers...

Coyotes fans need not worry

Michal Repik would be a nice addition to any teams prospect pool.

Well, Grabner being waived last year apparently wasn't a mistake.

Ryan Potulny...once upon a time that was a trade the Oilers 'won.'

Someone take Sexton please. He has shown nothing since his first call up, apart from having no hockey IQ and being a master of tight angle shots instead of a pass

The thing is, the team would have to play Repik on their NHL roster or Florida would just claim him back.

Repik could possibly turn into another Grabner situation perhaps?

Repik is a dime a dozen. He's had 5 training camps to make the Panthers and hasn't made it yet. THE PANTHERS. He had a long cup of coffee last season and especially had a great chance to impress after all the vets left at the trade deadline. He didn't impress at all. This was his fifth training camp and he totally blew it. I wasn't really expecting him to make the team TBH, but he wasn't even a blip on the radar. You can have him.

Oh good Syvrets on waivers just before the Flyers go to the Winter Classic. He's our leading Scorer for Winter Classic's you know.

In all honesty I feel bad for him I feel like he keeps getting jerked around I personally think hes better then some of the defenders on other teams around the league but keeps ending up on some team with no use for him.

According to the Syracuse Crunch beat writer, everyone sent down from Anaheim cleared.

I think if anyone was claimed we would have heard by now, safe to assume everyone cleared.

Mikkelson would be a good pick-up for somebody. His career may be winding down but he's still a threat at Augusta National and the US Open, especially with Tiger Woods on the decline.

Interesting that Zach Hamill is listed by TSN on waivers.. isn't he on an ELC?

It looks like he's played three complete seasons so he's probably on his second contract.

Probably will. For one thing, about 9 times out of 10, when the board collectively assumes a player won't clear, they do anyways. Also, Hamill's particularly likely because unless some team has always been high on him and his potential, nobody's going to look at him as an upgrade on their roster. He just hasn't been good enough in the AHL. If some team was particularly high on him, he'd have probably been dealt for a change of scenery already, like Filatov or Sheppard.
