Very fair assessment from the Toronto Sports Network. All kidding aside their coverage of Montreal has been much less biased since they started showing the English regional Habs games on the network. They give credit where credit is due and criticize where it is needed, unlike every article written before that subtly badmouthed the team.

Anyways this article pumped me up even more for this season, drop the freakin puck already and Go Habs Go!!!

the comments by posters on the TSN website makes HF look like a forum full of Einsteins.

Cause some of their "analysts" might actually watch us play now.

Lol not meant to troll but on that topic, patburns93 is one of the biggest trollers on the planet. I swear he spends his days looking for habs articles and trying to find flaws in the habs team. Just thought I'd put that out there since it really frustrates me.

''After years of courtship, the Canadiens were finally able to bring over Alexei Yemelin. Drafted back in 2004, the Russian blueliner developed his game in the KHL and is touted for his hard hits and solid puck movement. If he arrives as advertised, he should easily fill in the defensive role left by veteran Roman Hamrlik.''

I personally think that piece of bull#@$& makes gaston terrien sound intelligent.

read those comments: holy ****! and i though this board was retarded.

my apologies everyone. carry on.

P.S. oddly written but good article

edit:
"Habs are a make-shift bunch. A bunch of castoffs and rejects from other teams (Gomez, Gionta, Cammalieri, Campoli, Gill, etc. etc.) with some B rated young players. The only bright lights there are Subban and Price and both will leave as soon as they can walk via free agency."

so much... hate...

lol, he drives me nuts as well. His stat spewing is particularly sad and inaccurate. The good news is he quiets down significantly when the Leafs are not doing well.

It's sad to see how many frustrated leafs fans are out there...

I understand leafs fans though.

well, that's a bit harsh innit? but leafs fans are slowly reversing that trend. i've never seen so much bitterness and envy in a fanbase...

Reading comprehension is key. "Yemelin should easily fill in for Hamrlik" is not the same as "If he arrives as advertised, Yemelin should easily fill in for Hamrlik".
