I'm not sure how much I trust that Hockey Break source, but The Pipeline Show retweeted it and there's been speculation about him not wanting to play in the AHL anymore, so I'll go with it.

You'd think Phoenix would have room considering Turris seems to be intent on forcing a trade, too.

I guess it makes sense, but I don't think hockey break really has any source on this other then them hearing he doesn't want to go to the AHL. So why not make something up saying he asked for a trade. Not like it's that far fetched.

As for PHO they gave Biznasty a two year deal. He is worse than Stortini. It's a **** show in PHO.

Kinda tough to justify it after the Fedun incident, too.

If Brule stays healthy and focused, he should provide some offense for the Barons. On a side note, anybody know if Brule is still a RFA after this year?

Should be but unless he has an amazing year with the Barons he wont get qualified.

Kyle Cumiskey and Joe Callahan on Waivers. As per Bob Mac.

I think we should take a chance on Cumiskey. He's better then Chorney for sure

I read it as Colorado waives Kyle Quincy at first and just about choked.

Cumiskey always impressed me before when we played Colorado. He must have fallen off the map a bit but I'd definitely take a chance on him. Once Whitney and Smid come back we could make a decision on Sutton or Cumiskey to be waived.

Barker - Gilbert
Cumiskey - Petry
Sutton - Peckham
Potter

Whitney - Gilbert
Smid - Petry
Barker - Peckham
Cumiskey/Sutton

Cumiskey is interesting for sure. I wonder how much his concussion and groin injury have hampered him though if he's getting waived now?

He can't be worse than Barker. Plus he's on a 1 year, 2 way deal so we could just send him to OKC if he's no good

Cumiskey is nothing more than a liability on the back-end. He finds waivers for good reason.

a major part of that is his injury issues... he'd fit nicely in Edmonton

This morning. I don't think we've heard anything official, so I assume he cleared.

The Anaheim Ducks have acquired defenceman Kyle Cumiskey from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for defenceman Jake Newton and a seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
