You guys can't call the playoff games. We have a system for that

It goes by winning record . Then we work things out.

based on history, playoff priority goes to the members who post the most GDTs, with game priority going to those with the best record.

Looks like 6 posters right now would qualify for priority.

That seems kind of subjective. What's the cutoff for members who post the most GDTs?

Re-crunched, assuming everyone does the ones they are scheduled for, right now we have

GK - 14
Omnisens - 13
HAWT - 9
Sask - 6
sixthsens - 6
shanny - 5
Manked - 5
CH - 5

based on that i'd suggest priority only to the top 3, stick the other 5 in the general pool.

Danishh got it wrong. We (GK and myself) both have 3 games left in this season. Meaning we both finish with 13

A Rock paper scissors match will take place April 8th, 8pm live only on PPV

I say people vote on what they think the best GDT was (among people who want to do a playoff GDT), then that person gets first pic, but all of their GDTs are removed from the ballot until 3 games later

Wouldn't it be easier to just have one poll with each poster as an option, and then link their GDTs in the OP of the poll thread?

these were the rules for the 2010 playoffs, btw. I think i wrote them.

First round picks go to the 4 posters with the most regular season GDTs posted
In order, that is MattT, FCB, Omnisens, and myself
Beyond those 4 picks, priority goes to ANY of the GDT posters this year
After that, posters who havnt posted GDTs this year can take a pick, if there are any games remaining.

i assume 4 was chosen because of 4 guaranteed games. This year we have two posters tied for 4th though.

It's still a rule. People just tend to break it by calling a game a month if advance and expect me to take them in consideration once the date comes up.
