I know it's rude and we should wait but can we just tell Willsie right now that he's cut and to gtfo? Man does that guy suck.

Thanks. I really watched him closely in the 2nd period. He made several nice breakout passes, a couple nice rushes, and blocked a few shots (made a great play on the Chara goal...just a bad bounce).

I guess I was hoping to see him lay some people out, but I think he has played solid, just not as rough as I would hope.

Thats how I meant it. It sucks that he's on the ice for those goals. He's not to blame.

We're definitely going to miss Hamrlik.

Oh and our regulars have actually been good (except Price at first but whatever, he's gonna be ready for Game 1)

Pacioretty is better than ever
Gorges is better than ever
Gomez is showing some good things
Cammalleri seems to be in a better mood than last year and got his vision back (not saying he lost it but his first season here was fantastic, he seemed to have personal issues last year or something, he seemed to be in a bad mood all year and didn't perform as well as he used to)
Cole looks great
Subban is being Subban
AK looks like he's in a better than usual shape as well
Hell even Spacek looks better

I'd say we're going to have a great season if Price can be as good as he was last year.

On the other hand though... a lot of our young players look like they're definitely not ready for the NHL... it's kinda disappointing considering how hyped up the youth is right now with the Habs... I think the thing is that a lot of them WERE Nhl ready and are now playing in Montreal...

Yemelin is pretty good though, he just needs to adjust himself to the NHL but I think it'd be safe to have him playing in MTL.

I also like the intensity of Gomez...is it just me?

The rest....eurk

I hope to see a majors cut soon enough. But I want the Habs to keep Gallagher 'till the end of camp, the kid is plain awesome....Gallagher > Palushaj

Jacques Martin needs to wake the **** up. There are absolutely no reason in the world to have Willsie and Darche out there on the PP instead of Avtsin and Archambault. This is ridiculous. Palushaj is auditioning for a spot but the other two are just a waste of time.

I mean Darche is alright when guys like Markov and Cammalleri are on because all he has to do is stand in front of the net. But with Willsie and Palushaj what the hell is he supposed to do? This has got to be the worst power play line I have ever seen.

Avtsin and Archy have shown GREAT things so far in pre-season, even better than Palushaj, yet they are stuck on the 4th line and Martin plays Willsie on the PP.

It's pre-season !!!! Play the kids. The amount of experience Gallagher and Beaulieu have got so far is incredible, it will help them grow. Why not Archy and Avtsin too?!?!?!

Ridiculous. Willsie. ****.

Emelin is the best Habs defenseman on the ice again tonight, the kid is top 4 material.. Weber is also playing a much better game tonight.. We sure have an average blueline without Markov but our goaltending and offense will compensate..

Whats the point of even using Willsie on the PP?

Give Archambault and Avtsin some time. At least they might have a future in the NHL.

I believe that you are 100% correct regarding Yemelin and Martin.

I hope he will turn him loose and encourage his hard hitting during the regular season.

Turns out Montreal's junior-aged prospects can't play regularly with NHLers. Shocker.

Montreal's NHLers -- what few they've had in all those pre-season games -- have uniformly done very well though.

Just remember who signed him and then ask yourself why was he signed.......

Someone dropped the ball big time. Either the scouting staff or PG or both.

He's a depth signing for Hamilton - you consider that "dropping the ball big time"? Seriously?
