Chistov's Value (trade proposals)

Any proposals for Stanislav Chistov. His stock is at an all-time low right now. I'd like to see him in Colombus.
Maybe
Lachance and a 3rd for Chistov
Any others?

Ducks aren't looking to get older or add salary.

I'd consider that deal, does Chistov play RW?

they probably wouldn't even want Lachance

What do you mean you'd consider that deal? You should take it and run cause theres no way Chistov (who I personaly hate) was offered for that.

Like you said..Chistov's value is at an all-time low so why would the Ducks trade him now?

Anaheim seems to be cutting pay roll, or at least shedding some vets, no way they deal a future star, who had a sophmore slump....

At an "all-time low"? The guy is, what, 21 y/o and two years into his NHL career?

Even if his career was imperiled at this point (it's not; it's called "growing pains"), what GM in his right mind would move a very talented young (albeit inexperienced and flawed at this early stage) winger when his stock was low? (Other than the GM on Long Island.)

The best time to move a player is when he is producing (or better yet, over-performing), and you have depth. Not when he is not.

Buy low, sell high. Chistov's going nowhere (unless you are getting real talent in return).

How about no?

He's 21 years old and had a breakout rookie year at age 19!!! He had the sophmore jinx last year. He was on top of the world in his rookie year that he forgot what work ethic was in the off-season.

I wouldn't trade him if his value is as low as you say it is..wouldn't it be illogical to deal him right now?

Come on now, the Rangers are loaded. I wouldn't take anything less than $15!

If fans of the other 29 teams think they can trade a 2nd round pick for Chistov then thats great. It isn't going to happen. Look who the Ducks have been trading(Prospal,Havelid,Gerber...hmm older players?) They aren't going to trade this kid who is a big part of the future so you might as well close the thread.

actually a more realistic and fair proposal. The Ducks wouldn't bite but I'll give you credit for at least thinking out a realistic trade scenario.

It's a trade that suits both our needs. But, you're right, as long as Chistov is this young with such a rediculous amount of untapped potential, there's no reason to trade him.

That's not even close to being enough for Chistov.

If I were Larry Pleau (and for the last time, I'm not) I would definately have an interest in Chistov and would wonder aloud what it would take for the Blues to acquire him. He could end up being a very nice top 6 forward on a team that needs some depth up front, esp. from fast, euro players, IMO. From among the Blues vast array of goaltending prospects or current roster players what would interest Anaheim? I know you guys like Bryzgalov or however you spell his name so our goalie prospects might not be of interest, but perhaps something else could be worked out. Any Ducks fans want to play GM?
