MZA has been one of the Rangers bets players this game. Dressing Deveauux and Bickel was a mistake. They need more toughness in a game like this.

He'll likely go down to Hartford and put up a 30-45 pt season.

4th liner at best in the NHL. His hands can't keep up with his feet.

Agreed. This is a guy that has speared other players in the groin multiple times. Gutless.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. 2 guys who are fighting have been the better Rangers tonight and then there is EC. He's looked same old lost with no edge to game at all.

If he stays there all season, I am calling 60 points.

This is a preseason game in name only. The guys on the ice are pouring their hearts into it.

Do you believe Deveaux will score 30 and Bickel going +40 this year? Both have toughness as their #1 asset, that is why they're dressed... maybe not enough toughness for an entire team... and yes, I am ignoring Weise, good guy for sure, but not NHL material.

sigh. wish we could have gotten Jagr. at the very least, I wish he didn't sign within our division. heck, our conference. I hope Ranger fans can cheer him (as much as one can cheer for a Flyer) when he visits MSG. Like at least a little in the beginning of the game.

I think he meant to say it wasn't a mistake to dress them. Otherwise you're right, that makes no sense

Unfortunately, doesn't look like his offense will translate.

But he is a very good defensive player.

I love Jagr, and always will. But as long as he's wearing that hideous creamsicle jersey, he is the enemy and will be treated as such.

They are not good fighters and are by no way deterrents. They need a legit heavy and some scrappier players involved in this game. If you read it like that, my comment makes 100% sense.

Just got here. Anybody mind summing up the scoring so I don't have to dig through all these posts?

If you knew anything about Bickel and Deveaux it would make total sense. Neither would be considered a "good" fighter.

They don't know anything about me either, how I enjoy poetry, Star Trek Deep Space Nine or long walks on the beach...

Yep. His shoulder went straight into the boards and he extended to brace himself from the hit. He most likely has at least a jammed shoulder. Worst case would be seperated shoulder/broken collarbone.
