need a league

I'm 18 and really want to start playing hockey I live in the Buffalo ny area and was wondering if anyone knew any leagues open?

You could also contact the director of the adult hockey league and ask him/her if they can supply you with email addresses of the captains of the teams in the division you want to play in. That way you can shoot the captain of the team an email letting them know that you are interested in playing for them.

if you are open to playing any position; winger, center, defender; then you may get more interest from any team that is looking for new players. sometimes the problem with adult recreational leagues is that everyone wants to play offense and the defense suffers.

Not sure if it's near you up there but I'd look to HNA.com if your looking to get into ice. Skill level widely varies
