Johan Larsson is looking great so far. It's obvious that he has taken a big step this season. 3 points (2+1) in 5 games, and overall very impressive play.

Good news! I wasn't as excited about his upside as a lot of people on here but I'd love to be wrong.

He and Granlund looked absolutely SICK together chemistry wise back in the prospect camp.

Skill needs to play with skill, so Im not suprised they looked good together, ---Phillips hockey IQ is very high goes to all the right places.........we are happy to have him back, he looks bigger and stronger and his skating looks drastically improved...I heard he spent basically the whole summer in minnesota training.

from his tweets he spent quite a bit of time here training before the prospect tournament to me his skating didn't look awful at all he had decent speed and i found it funny people complained about his skating when we have Lats and had Bruno on this team.

I didn't think that he looked that great with Granlund. I thought it looked like Granlund and Phillips were doing great and Larsson was just benefitting from being on their line, much like Coyle and Zucker did for their rotating linemates.

I didn't see that at all. Thought Phllips stood out a lot more (in a good way), personally.

From what I saw, Larsson was doing all the board work and digging the pucks out for Granlund and Phillips...

In fact, one of their goals resulted in Larsson winning a battle in the corner and getting it to either Granlund or Phillips (cannot remember which one)

I thought Larsson played more of a N/S, cycle game which impressed me.

Don't get me wrong, I think Larsson looked good. I just felt the line was more Phillips-Granlund-[other guy] than it was Larsson-Granlund-[other guy]. Foucault has shown that he wasn't just benefitting from playing with Zucker and Coyle, and I think that Larsson has shown that as well.

Larsson was a complimentary guy IMO. I don't know if he's complimentary in the Mikko Koivu "holy **** this guy makes his linemates awesome" or in the Kyle Brodziak "meh this guy works but is completely replaceable" way.

If anyone's complimentary in the Mikko Koivu way, it's Granlund.

Larsson seems koivu lite, good hands with a good shot and grit, honestly wouldnt surprise me if he ended up a 2 nd line center or at least a 2b tho a winger is morr likely tho he has the grit to make a line of

Clutterbuck larsaon bulmer a damn nightmare with s coring punch

Johan Larsson continues to impress. 2 goals and 2 assists in 6 games, 3rd most points in Brynäs. Averages 16 min/game, 5th most of Brynäs' forwards. Last year he had 8 points in 43 games.

So many prospects to be optimistic about. Folks, in the context of a web discussion board that talks hockey prospects, we are:

• vindicated
• rewarded for our patience
• in the right place at the right time
• relevant

last night Lucia had a goal he's 1g 1a so far in 3g playing tonight

Graovac had 2g 2a tonight in a OTT blowout so thats strange he's got 3g in 4 games he had 10g in 66 games last year.

Exhibition play but Zucker scored twice in a 2-2 tie against McGill.

Buried on a deep team. Hurt his draft stock but could really end up being a late round gem.

some questions about prospects above...

do we still have the rights of Lehtonen, Walker and Krupp?

i know very little about Caron and Jobke, seems like both are DFD prospects from stats perspective. all i know about Jobke is he had a B- pot. from NHL 11 anyone can give depth info about these 2 guyz?

Lucia and Seeler prefered USA minor leagues, anyone knows why they didn't go college?
