1. cuma is already a bust. 2. awesome to see coyle and phillips on the same line.

my real question is how many of our prospects from the last couple drafts will play for the wild/houston next year? ob granlund is a lock. brodin if he bulks up? what about larsson? I kinda like larsson more after I saw him at the WJC but can he make the wild squad. and will zucker leave DU? also will bulmer play for houston?

My guess is all are in AHL/NHL except Brodin, he will be in NHL or back to Sweden.

I wouldn't be so quick to call Cuma a bust. I guess it depends on your definition of a bust though. I can't see him as a top pairing d-man like he once could have been, but I believe he can still make a positive impact on an NHL team, be it here or somewhere else.

I will admit, I've never seen Cuma play. I do remember the stories after he was drafted about how smart he was, and how good he was fundamentally. He was supposed to be a good skater, puck mover, and have good hockey smarts. I'd wait another year or so, given his history of injuries, before I'd call him a bust.

For all we know, Shep, Pouliot and Gillies will have fine NHL careers, and Cuma as well.

What is with Minnesota fans and anytime you disagree with something they say you're negative?

So I'm expecting Minnesota to be shooting rainbows out of their butts and scoring 10 goals a game?

For all the injuries Minnesota has had on their blueline, the fact we had to call up Freidheim over Cuma tells a lot about Cuma.
