It's not fair to just assume that his hands will be covered in grease.

Seems to be an issue with lots of players. Is this the go-to excuse or simply some strange situation?

I kid of course, my tinfoil hat is still on order, have yet to put it on.

Strongly disagree-- I was actively campaigning against him in the preseason-- I thought it was all flash and buzz without actually helping the team. I'd welcome a number of callups before Duco.

No joke, Duco would not do well on a team without multiple heavy weights....it would be like putting Marchand on the Habs. If you cant protect the pests, they get killed....

Marchand is lucky he is on a team with multiple heavy weights.

Higgins has a swollen hand. Fear is he has another staph infection. Medical thinks he has same virus. He is not travelling.

Sounds bad...

I wonder where Bitz is at in his recovery, I'm very curious to see him play.

Damn, sucky news about Higgins. Hopefully they get it fixed ASAP. Maybe Gillis will continue to think outside the box and hire a Team Dermatologist.

I remember when Trent Klatt had that nasty infection on his foot where they were concerned about him being able to play anymore because of it. Some of these infections can be pretty nasty, I hope Higgins' is just a minor one.

Vancouver running low on soap? What's up with this guy. Maybe he wasn't raise right.
In all seriousness he's on an IV and in some legit pain. Swollen hand and it's hurting spending night in hospital.

Sami Salo as well a couple of seasons back - although that should be no great surprise. He missed some games during the Wild series in May 2003.

I blame his brother personally. Who knows what sorts of childhood pranks he pulled?

Recurring staph infection. Hrmph. Alarm bells are ringing. Someone go sandblast Higgins' stall in the dressing room.

Get well soon, Higgsy.
