Why?

Edit: and I'll go on the record and say I think Kane is gonna be better than all those forwards.

He lost all credibility from me when he said Gilbert does nothing.

Gilbert, and hemsky need a new location new player to play with, and omark will bring excitment while paajarvi will make up cap space and values

I didn't know GM's made trades to get more "excitement". I was under the impression they were to make their teams better.

Are you high? Gilbert is a very good #3 defenseman, and Hemsky doesn't need a new place to play, he just needs a bionic shoulder. And if all you can say about Omark and Pajaarvi is they have value, you probably know nothing about their game either. I'm not saying this proposal is worse for one team than the other because it hurts both, its just a bad prosposal.

The stuff around Byfuglien has nothing to do with the Jets and I doubt they would move him over an impaired boating charge. Winning fills seats more than excitement, the two don't always go hand in hand. And the excitement would be enough with Byfuglien and Kane, would it not?

He was 11th in the NHL in blocked shots last year and is good for 30 - 40 points per year. Sounds like a solid #3 d-man to me. What has he done to do "nothing".

English bro. English.

Winnipeg almost made the playoffs last year. They can get a lot worse. Edmonton has one of the best lineups of young players in the league thanks to what is looking like a successful start to a rebuild, trading their young pieces isn't how you continue with a rebuild.

Why do you say that? And if that's the case, why would the Oiler's want him? So Khabby can swap stories with him about impaired operation of a motor vehicle?

The Jets sold out every available season ticket in two minutes. They sold out last nights pre season game and it was louder than most arenas in the playoffs. Something tells me they don't need to add "excitement" to sell tickets. They are just happy to have NHL hockey back.
