heheh. Kadri back at centre.

Wilson and Burke drive me nuts. They are good/very good hockey people but they sure know how to turn certain situations into full on ****shows.

Ehh, I'm all for it. They're giving him a more defensive role in a preseason game against Ottawa with two good players on his wings.

Bozie was fully practicing yesterday, but was listed day to day with something undisclosed. He'll be back by the weekend I think.

Not sure what's going on with Connolly though.

I think he missed practice the other day with "personal reasons" so maybe it has something to do with that.

From what I've seen on Twitter, both are dealing with minor lower-body injuries.

Apparently Connolly went into the boards hard.

Seems like both should be back for the weekend. It will give others an opportunity to showcase (for example Kadri).

I believe Bozak was at practice today.

These sort of injuries happen all the time it seems in training camp. Had it been regular season you probably would never hear anything. They are taken out of the lineup because they can afford to do so (being preseason and all).

Ottawa has them too right now with Andersson, Auld and Phillips IIRC.

Auld and Phillips left the game last night with minor soreness.

I think it's pretty damn close anyways. Maybe sub in Komisarek for Aulie, but other than that we're playing with a full deck tonight.

I thought the plan was to play Kadri on left wing to help his development? I am concerned that Connoly has been a disapointment so far, although he has played only 2 games. Not enough to make any real judgements, but Wilson may already feel that he will not complement a line with Kessel and Lupal. He may also be nursing an injury which would explain his lack of playing.

Didn't they play together as a line a couple times late last year?

Going to the game tonight! Was able to snag two tickets on kijiji for $25 bucks a piece I mean they are first row 300's but to be honest the Scotia Bank does not have a bad seat in the house, I watched the Gold Medal game when Canada spanked Sweden in serious nosebleed seats and could see the whole game perfectly. I never understand why people diss the 300 levels some of the best seats I find! Hope everyone enjoys the game I'll try and get that leafs chant going although that's never too hard in Ottawa

2 games. Let me repeat that. 2 GAMES.

Take it easy Jerky McKneeJerk, it's only preseason. It'll be good to see Kadri see time with some good linemates similar to how Frattin got the Grabo line last game.

Let's see how well both play tonight. Could care less if we win or lose.

They are playing Kadri center because Connolly is sitting out tonight.

No other capable centers.

This should be an interesting game. Gives Kadri a shot to show where he could go long term with the team. Never know what might happen either with injuries so if he can have a good game up there it gives options.

The interesting one though is Gunnarsson with Phaneuf. Maybe just a reminder that Aulie isn't a lock here and seeing how other players might be able to work with Phaneuf in that spot.
