Burrows or Jagr

All categories, one year pool.

Having some debate on this one would appreciate some other opinions...

I'd take Burrows. I'm honestly not sold on Jagr performing like a 1st liner, I think he'll pot 60 points at most, which is what Burr also should - except he'll wind up with more PIM's and SHP's.

Expect Burrows to get 65-70 pts. My reasoning behind this is that after his torrid 1 goal in the first 10 games back after recovering from surgery, he was on his usual pace like the 67 pt season he had before.

Burrows is durable, will give you lots of goals, pims, +/- and some shp and a fair number of shots. He will likely start on the powerplay because Kesler is out but the amount of PPP he will get will probably very minimal.

Jagr on the other hand is a PPP specialist. While I concede that I do know much about him, age always brings the question of durability. He has the talent to probably put up 60-70 pts while acquiring lots of PPP. Jagr is a gamble that will likely pay off.

IMO go with Jagr.

I think either will be lucky to surpass 60 points, but I agree with your last sentence.

Burrows, he will get a load of PIMs and will be statiscally better than Jagr in almost every category (except maybe goals/assists, but it will be close)
