2014 draft

If you were to rate strength of drafts, what would your order be of the following (with first selections for *****)

2010 - Hall
2011 - Nuge
2012 - Yak
2013 - ?
2014 - ?

Well this all really depends, are you soley asking about the first overall selection or the entire draft? Based soley on first overall selections i would have to say:

Hall
Yak
Drouin(I believe he should go first)
Nuge
Nylander/Reinhart

But if we were going with overall strength of the draft I wouldnt even try and bite that sword. Far too many unknowns as we will probably see players come out of nowhere in the next few seasons. But if I had to judge I would say:

2013
2011
2010
2012

Thats just my opinion though as its really a crap shoot. 2011 and 2013 look as if they hold the talent later in the first round though. Also the only reason why I rated 2012 last is because there was quite a few Boom or Bust players taken in the first round.

Thanks for the replies, I guess im just wondering if next years draft will be as strong as this one, and where Jones would rank among other top three picks.

Not saying he'll be the better player, but Ekblad is a significantly ahead of where Jones was 16 months ago.
