Updated realignment news (Bowling Green)

So looks like Bowling Green is actually taking their time and thinking this through rather than just jumping on the WCHA invite along with all the other orphaned CCHA teams.

4 Atlantic Hockey teams (Niagra, Canisius, Mercyhurst, and Robert Morris) have been looking for a possible move in a desire to get away from the scholarship limit in their current league. Airforce, while less publicized, is also considering.

Really interesting news though is that Buffalo is looking to ADD a DI program in all this conference chaos. And here people thought the Big10 shift would kill the little guys...

Here's hoping they all go for it. Always good to see smaller programs want to grow into a bigger league. Bowling Green will take a hit to their prestige no matter what. Might as well be a big fish in a little pond with better odds at another autobid rather than fight it out in the new look WCHA. While they are at it, give an invite to University Alabama Hunstville already!

Updated conferences so far
