Brule on waivers

http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=377274

Wonder if the Isles make a move here and who would he replace? I could see him coming here if the Isles trade Comeau for D but with the current roster I dont see where he could fit in.

Considering Garth's past success on the waiver wire, if they sign him he is awesome but if Garth passes he was dumped for a reason

No, but maybe GMG should put in a claim for O'Marra... pretty sure we still have a few geniuses here complaining about the Smyth trade, maybe that will make them feel better

Never really seen him play but he seems undersized.

Double post, pick him up deal
Comeau.

MM-JT-Brule
Kong Line
Rolston-Bails-P.A.
......

Bailey needs reliable and consistent partners while I think JT can help Brule reach his full potential, which I think is a 60-65 point playmaker who can play in all zones.

Strangely enough, there actually is a small amount of truth to this. Isles got 3 of their top 6 forwards off waivers.

I vote no on Brule as well. Not really sure about Pandolfo being signed. The guy has played in this league for this long for a reason. At least you know he will be versatile and sound defensively. Hasn't Brule been waived before? Of course Eklund says a couple days ago Leafs were looking into a trade for a forward and are interested in Brule. Now he is on waivers lol!

If we trade Comeau then Niederreiter is his replacement.

This is a great idea, replacing Comeau with Brule. I also endorse replacing the team's medical staff with this guy:

Not enough facepalms.

Why don't we replace Grabner with Tikhonov while we're at it too.

You really can't make it up.

I'd love to know in what world Brule could replace Comeau.

Yeah, and people still cry a river when talking about the Smyth trade. I had a long drawn out argument last year about it probably hidden in history somewhere. Nilsson is overseas, O'marra never recovered from a knee injury and people still say we gave away the future, haha!

Tavares: Drafted
Moulson: UFA
Parenteau: UFA
Nielsen: Drafted
Grabner: Waivers
Okposo: Drafted
Bailey: Drafted
Comeau: Drafted
Rolston: Trade

That's 1 in the top 9 that was picked up off waivers by my count.

What's wrong with moving a 24 goal scorer to make room for a 10-15 goal scorer who was invisible? We might get a defenseman of some value.....like Grebeshkov or Bergeron or Niinimaa?

Better trade him before he scores 30 and we won't want to anymore.
