Honestly... trading Hartnell and keeping Couturier would be a huge mistake. People can ***** about Hartnell all they want but the guy plays that hard in your face style that no one else does on the team. We get even more soft on offense.

How could we possibly trade Shelley.

A team has to pay a ridiculous cap hit on a guy that will be suspended for 10 games? Not to mention he is horrible.

If Homer can make it happen though, he's a genius.

The issue would be the 1.2 mil he is paid this year, depending on how Nashville's finances are.

If not for difficulty staying healthy, he'd likely be considered a better prospect than Ryan Ellis. He's basically Ryan Suter -lite-- skates like the wind, can move the puck\QB the pp, and has a nice physical edge as well. I think he'll end up being better than countryman Sbisa when all is said and done. He's also NHL ready, but has a two way deal\waiver exempt, which might appeal to Philly.

Roman would be a good fit here. I also like Taylor Beck RW, and Gab Bourque LW.
