Theodore played awful. Was it his fault, the defense, or a combination?
Both? Defense played awful. Dallas was just allowed to go straight into the slot most of the night. Ribeiro's goal to put Dallas up 1-0 should've been stopped without a doubt. Other goals were either from the blue line or defensive break downs.
Wandell's goal was pure luck. Ryder lost the puck, Ribeiro grabbed it, then Wandell somehow got it and Theo was on his stuck and Timmy just put it into the net.
Florida has a lot of work to do if that's their main roster.

Yeah, Theodore was in the whole game. I think 25 was the backup on the bench.
The best part of Ribeiro is that he's awesome and he knows it. I honestly think being the 1A center might make him take his game to a whole new place. He loves the spotlight and seems to thrive in it.
I was pretty pleased with Fistric's decision making tonight. He only got sucked out of position to make a hit once, and he was one of the best about making sure there was always a defenseman to cover the top of the crease. Grossman was nice and physical, Daley and Robidas were what I'd come to expect of them, and Goligoski struggled with the puck a bit in his own end but was great in the offensive zone. Larsen... has some work to do with making sure he's not clearing it right into the skates of the opposition.
Glad to hear Eriksson is doing okay. Ott looked like he had rockets on his skates at points, and he was the key in setting up the Ribeiro goal. Wandell had that late goal but missed like 2-3 sitters that made me want to beat him. He's got to get his hands, feet and head in the same place.
Ribs looked magical tonight. Ott had a beauty of a pass for Rib's goal. Fiddler is the new Woywitka WTF face. Bachman is short as all hell compared to Kari.
Ott's pass stuck out to me too from those highlights. At least 4 Panthers were in the area, and the 5th wasn't totally out of the picture. You could say the Panther's just totally screwed up not getting a stick on it, but I was impressed Ott was able to get it through and right on Ribeiro's tape.

In one of Ott's many appearances on DallasStars.com interviews this pre-season, he mentioned being bothered by a groin injury for several years. He finally had it taken care of, and he said he was skating better than he had in years. He said he was also finally not limited in training this summer because of the injury.
