POS ethically with dirty hits and jackassery or POS as in completely incompetent at hockey?
I'd have to vote for McGrattan for the later. Cooke, the former.

Well obviously it'll be the Orville Redenbacher of the league, James Sheppard. But if we are talking about players that there are actual contributing expectations on...

Forwards: Erik Cole, Montreal Canadiens - Checked on a map. Montreal is a long way from Raleigh. Edmonton revisited, only with better restaurants.

Defenceman: JM Liles, Toronto ML - Defensively weak and I think his gaffes will be amplified under the Toronto microscope. Snowball effect on his confidence.

Goalies: Ilya Bryzgalov, Philadelphia Flyers - I just feel with the big money and expectations he has riding on his shoulders, he'll fold.

For the Wild: Brad Staubitz - I think with Shanahan ruling with an iron(but hopefully consistant) fist, Staubitz will have trouble adjusting his one dimensional style. Not hating on Staubitz, as he was a pleasant surprise last season. I say give Bulmer his nine games. If he continues his preseason play when it counts for real, let him stay as our 4th line RW.
*EDIT* - I want to scratch my Bulmer statement. Don't want to rush Bulmer, and turn him upside down like Riser and Co. did with Shep. Give BB his nine for evaluation purpose and let him build his game in Kelowna for 2012-13.

I know I kind of picked on new free agent signings in regards to the non Wild players. So I did cop out a bit.

I'll be honest, I have no idea what you were trying to say in the first sentence in the original post...

Ha. Last year in our league for this board my first two picks were Kovalchuk and Thornton. Both had terribad years by their standards. I placed 15/16. Ha.

Last year in a league I was in, I had Kovalchuk, Heatley, and Ovechkin (6 team league). Things did not go so well for me.
