Epic fail. Just Epic.

They say pitching wins championships. Guess "they" never met a team as atrocious at the plate as the Phils.

We have some ****ing outstanding pitching, but our hitting is just SO bad right now. The ****ing Astros and Cubs would of beaten us.

Condolences on elimination. Seriously thought that rotation in offseason could win you the title this year.

Good luck next year.

And we got the Eagles... no wait they suck.
And we got the Sixe... no wait they're in a lockout.

Yeah, had nothing to do with Carpenter.

1) maybe there will be a bit more humility after the last two years.

2) that Howard contract looks better and better.

What this team needs is a fifth ace.

Friggin' sucks.... The Phils poor end to the season rears its ugly head in the playoffs. 102 wins in the regular season only gets you 2 october W's? I'm sick inside...

Pathetic.

And I knew this would happen. They had no problem losing 8 ****ing games in a row, why not just throw one or two against the Braves at the end of the season and assure the HOTTEST ****ING TEAM IN BASEBALL doesn't come back to haunt you. Same **** happened last year in the NFL with the Bears and Packers and we all know how that worked out. Bunch of ****ing losers not being able to manufacture a couple runs. 102 pointless ****ing wins. I bet Lee is really regretting coming back to Philly now.

Pitching rotation means nothing if your batters can't hit a ****ing ball. Enjoy your offseason, ****ers.

Are you ****ing kidding me? What the ****, cant hit worth a damn, Halladay throws a gem and you get shut the **** out on a do or die game? ****ing pathetic. Howard = 0 in the playoffs. Also, why did Manuel not change the lineup AT ALL? And he left Polanco in there, when he couldnt hit a beach ball, so not happy at the moment. stupid all the ****ing way around except for doc.

Do you just wait until fans are upset and run to your computer to machine-gun contrarian replies?

Don't get me wrong, Carp pitched great and their staff overall is pretty good. But if you asked 100 people who had the best staff in baseball 95+ would say the Phillies. The Cards are a much better balanced team. Pitching does win in baseball, as long as you can score at least a run or two here and there. Phils didn't when they needed.
