Burish is veering into officially injury-prone territory.
I'd agree his style of play makes him injury proned, but this one really isn't his fault. He's also injury proned in a way that you'd want one to be if they had to, which is he gets hurt a lot blocking shots.

This. I don't really see how taking a shot from your own teammate suddenly makes you injury prone. He has been hurt a lot though, but most of it seems to be blocking big shots.
if i had my druthers, i'd use him as a pp specialist with selective even strength time when matchups warrant it.
I agree. I really hope they don't do to him what they did to Daley because Larsen doesn't have the body to have the type of career Daley has if he's not going to be an offensive catalyst. Last thing I heard Gulutzan say about Larsen was that he really likes his compete level on the defensive side of things while kind of pushing the offensive praise to the back-burner. The guy has skills; they need to let him play up to those. Having Petersen and Burish on the PP is a ******* disaster.

Does he get injured in "good" ways? Maybe. Is he injured frequently? Yes. That's really the bottom line. Morrow getting his wrist sliced by a skate is a freaky injury. Having knee, foot, groin, etc. issues on a relatively regular basis is another thing entirely. Whatever the case, #16 puts himself in positions to get injured too often. It's kind of like the difference between a kid getting into trouble once for being at a party with under-age drinking and being with friends who get in trouble with the law on a fairly regular basis.
As far as Burish is concerned, if he goes into the corner hard or takes a big hit you have to be wondering if that is the hit that puts him out of the lineup for a few games.

I really think Larsen is better than that. Sure his size makes him prone to getting over powered, just like it does with daley, goligoski and robidas, but every time i see Larsen play it jumps out to me how smart he is defensively. He knows how to position himself to get the job done. Daley sort of learned how to do that in the NHL, while I think its more natural for Larsen.

That's 3 fractures in the past year. Some people are just more brittle than others. Or he's exceptionally unlucky.
I'd agree with that. He needs more milk or better padding. I know Razor was saying he put in some different/extra padding in his skates/shinguards this year that was helping him avoid the broken foot/ankle he got last year. Seems he needs it for his hands too.
It's going to be hard to gauge a contract for him this offseason. He's a great player when on the ice, but his style of play means we only see him 50-60 games a season if that.

He's a smart player all the way around. He has a pretty solid hockey IQ in all areas it just seems that his body keeps him from being as effective as his brain would like from time to time. Daley definitely has a much more beefy, stocky body than Larsen does or ever will though, which partly explains how he can take and deliver some pretty good hits that won't be part of Larsen's repertoire.
Do we know who Larsen is playing with in Austin? I'm hoping that it's Dillon but I'm thinking that it's probably Lukowich.

Raycroft against San Jose? What? Shouldn't we be trying to win that game?
Agreed, idk why Gully keeps putting Raycroft in situations to lose. Its obvious using him on the tail end of B2Bs isn't working. Maybe he wants to give Raycroft a shot at home, but that's just a guess. I'd much prefer Raycroft in the Avs game, facing an opponent coming off a B2B themselves. If we're going to have a shooting gallery again better against the Avs than the Sharks.
I think he's a replaceable type of player, the kind that don't stick around into perpetuity. It might have been different if he weren't missing so many games but he is so...
