As long as we're doing this, Anisimov is Nemchinov.

We're missing guys like Anderson, Lowe, Larmer, McTavich, Lidster.

Did anyone else think Bickel looked pretty decent? Like a poor man's Sauer. Maybe there is something there to be a 3rd pair guy at some point...

Watching Zuccarello in this game reminds me how dominant he was in his last SEL season. No doubt he'd still be dominating with his vision.

I don't think anyone have been that good, but -- Wojtek Wolski -- have in my opinion not have the type of camp you want to see from a top 6 forward.

Reminds me of Higgins first camp two years ago. Invisible. He has some abilities (size; hands; some vision), but he just ain't that talented...

Now I am thinking we should have kept Prospal...

Unless Zucc can adjust to the left side, I doubt we will go through this year without making a move...

I am just looking at line combos but EC has played 2 games in a row with NHL players and Avery has been playing with the AHL crew

EC is the cheaper spare. Sean may be on waivers soon regardless of how well he has played............argh

I think we'll see a lot of things tried. If Wolski stumbles and they move Dubinsky up to the first line, maybe Callahan moves to the left wing (which he's played before) and Zucca moves up to the 2nd line RW. Ya never know.

We SHOULD have kept Prospal. Just tuned in. Hank looked on point and MZA showing why he needs to be on this team.

To those who say Zuccarello doesn't contribute outside of his points; it's not for a lack of effort! When he is on, he always plays with energy and tenacity, finishes every check and backchecks hard, he just needs to build some strength. I'd say he's the best defensive player when on a line with Wolski and Christensen. That might not be saying much, but he's definitely a Torts kidna guy...

Zuke interviewed, he talked about how better prepared he is now, compared to a year ago. He feels he has matured, he's had time to grow into a new system, a new culture and he's had feedback on what he needs to improve on to become a better NHL player. He said he just focuses on making the team.

Boumedienne also praised the Rangers, talking about the big difference being the clinic they've put up when it comes to scoring chances. "When you want money, you go to the bank, when you want bread, you go to the bakery, when you want goals, you go to the net".

During the last WJC, they talked about how they want to bring that North American nose for the net thing more into Swedish hockey as well and that they've been putting up a program to grow that mentality more into Swedish youth hockey. We'll see in a couple of years how that program turns out.

Yeah, with the right development, I could totally see Hagelin turn into Ryan Callahan v.2.0. You can never have enough of those kind of players.

Rupper just put on the dangles . I know its the larger surfaces but I like it to an extent because it let's you see the talent and skill of some of these guys that they just need time to hone with less space and time.
