Would be awesome have a line of Forsberg-Lindholm-Collberg, but Collberg is going to be 18 when the tournament starts. Heard somewhere that he would still be able to play though.

Too bad no chance to watch it on TV. SVT should buy the tournament.

Possible team...

Filip Forsberg - Elias Lindholm - Sebastian Collberg
André Burakovsky - Erik Karlsson - Nick Sörensen
Gustav Possler - Andreas Johnson - Jacob de la Rose
Tobias Liljendahl - Gustav Rydahl - Malte Stömvall

Hampus Lindholm - Ludvig Byström
Linus Arnesson - Niklas Folin
Jesper Pettersson - Calle Andersson

Sorensen is done for the season and I doubt for Stromvall. On the other hand, Tobias Tornkvist is a strong candidate as is probably Lucas Wallmark.

Cool name. ;-)

What about his brother Erik de la Rose, 18 years old, also playing for Leksand, defenseman with some experience for national teams U16 and U18?

It's kind of strange with both de la Rose brothers playing for Leksand and not Färjestad with their heritage from Arvika, Värmland?

Filip Forsberg with two assists in the same game, good for him.

I'm hoping they will, at least the medal rounds. 2010 they had the final on the web. Lets spam @SVTChris on twitter.

thoughts on Modo defenseman Marcus Bohman? He's a late -93, getting some icetime in SEL now due to injuries..

Outperformed by the even younger Ludwig Byström, still plays pretty solid though.

Liljendahl's got a lot of promise, but I think Wennberg, Kalin and Anderberg would be picked over him from DIF.

Does anyone who has been following Leksand or Rogle closely know if Jacob de la Rose, Hampus Lindholm, or Tobias Tornkvist will play in the game on Monday? Going to watch Filip Forsberg and just curious. Thanks

Lindholm is in the preliminary lineup for Rögle, can still change on gameday. But looks like he will play.

He's there to learn defense though. He has a point in both his NHL games too, just not cutting it defensively yet.

I really like what Phoenix has done with OEL making him a complete player and they can surely learn Rundblad a thing or two aswell.

Yeah no one should be surprised if Rundblad puts up a lot of points in the AHL. He could probably put up 50 if he was on a teams #1 PP unit in the NHL right now.

On another note, 21 year old Andre Petersson is set to make his debut for Ottawa on their 5 game road trip. 21 points in his last 17 in the AHL after just 4 points in his first 13. Kind of excited about this one...a lot of his criticisms have been answered. He's now lightning quick, tenacious and aware defensively.

Lindholm and de la Rose both played. Was really impressed with Lindholm. Reminded me a lot of the prototypical Swedish offensive defensemen that seem to be growing on trees (ala Karlsson, Ekman-Larsson, etc). De la Rose was mostly invisible.

Also made up a scouting report on Filip Forsberg that I posted in his main thread on this board. What a talent!

I'm betting AP makes his debut Saturday afternoon in Anaheim. Nothing confirmed yet. The Sens had two forwards leave the game tonight and he is the only extra forward on the trip. Game starts at 4 EST, which I think is 10 PM in Sweden.

Really pulling for him. Come a long way from his back problems.

Hes on to something, great speed and a good shot. Seem to me that he lost track of his development in last two years but seems to get things going this season. Still remenber hes goal in TV-Pucken.

I think André was the favorite player for many on the 2009 and 2010 world junior teams. He was mine for sure. Great to see his senior career pick up, looking forward to see his debut game whenever it comes.

Confirmed by Jokerit. They wanted to keep him there for next season but he wanted to return home already now. Don't know if he'll fit with Skellefteå's defense, but the bigger rinks and less aggressive forecheck might suit him more at this stage. He had huge problems in Finland with the latter, plus when you add his lack of weight and strength and insecurity at defense, it amounted to huge problems for him.
