A lot of young players are scoring in that game, besides those you mentioned.

1 assist from Weigel (92)
1 goal from Molin (93)
1 goal from Cehlin (91)
2 assists from Norman (91)
1 goal from Wännström (91)
1 assist from Gustafsson (92)

Any updates on the following Swedish prospects?

Peter Andersson
Ludwig Blomstrand
Pathrik Westerholm

I'd look it up myself but I find those European league sites just give me headaches.

Thanks!

www.eliteprospects.com is pretty non-headache-y site that give you the basics stat-wise from all over the world.

Sure, I caught a bad game for his team, but Tim Heed hasn't progressed much defensively if at all. He's a headless chicken in his own zone.

Ironhook injured? Heard it was a knee on knee, didn't watch the game.

Yeah, Jimmie Ericsson striked again. It's hard to judge if it was on purpose, knowing him I would say that it was. He does those kinds of things from time to time. Hopefully Ironhook will be back soon.

Strikes again? Oh please, just admit that you're still pissed about the goal that turned the semi-finals around last year. Life goes on mate, and remember, you had plenty of luck with the referees yourselves.
And "knowing him"? You don't know a damned thing about Jimmie Ericsson if you think he injured Järnkrok purpose.

He's expected to return around the time the playoffs begin, which is on March 10th.

Anybody know anything more about Tom Nilsson's game? All I hear is how he can lay big open ice hits. Just wondering how his defensive game is, skating ability, shot and passing abilities and all that stuff.

I have not seen a lot of Mora games but he plays quite physical and seems to put up pretty good numbers for his age, could definitely be one of the guys on the WJC-team next year.

Hopefully Ironhook will be back and on form for the playoffs and plays so well he makes the swedish wc squad, I'd really like to see what he can do in an international tournament. I have this feeling he'll have a better career than Silfverberg when all is said and done.

In other news the 2030 draft is shaping up to be a real good one for Sweden. Sundin, Forsberg and Henrik Lundqvist all having babies this summer...

He scored his first Elitserien goal yesterday: http://www.elitserienplay.se/#/video.1473629146001 (you can also see Brodin, another Leafs pick, with some physical play). Granberg wears number 8.

I think Petter plays a quiet game. He doesn't really make any big mistakes but isn't too noticable on offense or with physical play either. He's played 13 minutes on average in his 34 Elitserien games this season.

Can somebody give me a great analysis of what kind of player Collberg will be? I love swedish prospects and his play from world jrs.

Basically, his top end is a speedy, sniping winger. He hasn't gotten the chance to show it much at the highest levels, but his shot is really something else.

Also a very hard worker on the ice, he's going at 100% every shift to get the puck. If he would've gotten some more PP time or scored some more goals at the SEL level, he'd be even higher than he is right now.

So at the least he will be a third liner but he sounds like a top 6 player..Thanks for the insight

I think he's a top6 player or nothing at the NHL level long-term, but that's just how I feel. His chances to become that are very good, though. His shot is indeed wicked good, and accurate. I wouldn't be surprised if some teams are shying away because of his lack of production at senior level, but he has scored goals in bunches everywhere else so far in his career.
